I. Preliminary accommodation reservation

A preliminary reservation can be made:

We will inform you about the status of your booking by email or telephone.

II. Arrival and stay

The Operator may accommodate only guests who have been properly registered, up to a maximum of 16 persons. For this purpose, each guest must present a valid identity document to the relevant staff member.

The Operator is not authorised to disclose any information about accommodated guests to third parties, except to police officers who have properly identified themselves and demonstrated a legitimate reason for requesting such information.

Upon arrival, a refundable security deposit of €400 is required. The deposit may be used to cover any damage, part of the cost of damage, or penalties imposed for failure to comply with any provision of these House Rules.

The security deposit will be returned upon departure, provided that the guests have caused no damage to the property and have complied with all provisions of these House Rules.

Check-out is required by 9:30 AM, unless otherwise agreed. Failure to check out by this time may result in a penalty of €50.

III. Payment terms

A reservation and any additional accommodation services are considered confirmed once a deposit amounting to 50% of the total price of the stay has been paid.

The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival or by bank transfer. When paying by bank transfer, the payment must be credited to the Operator’s account no later than the day of arrival.

If the deposit or full payment is not made within the specified period, the reservation will be cancelled without entitlement to a refund of the deposit or any other compensation.

Guests are required to pay for accommodation and additional services in accordance with the current price list available on the website www.lahencl.sk.

Payment can be made:

• by bank transfer; or
• in cash upon arrival.

IV. Cancellation policy

If the guest does not arrive for the booked stay, the Operator is not required to refund the deposit. The deposit will only be refunded if the cancelled dates are subsequently booked by another group of guests.

A cancellation may be submitted by telephone or email.

V. General terms and conditions

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the residential areas of the chalet. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas, such as the gazebo and terrace.

Barbecuing, cooking food in a cauldron or outdoor kettle, roasting food and using an open flame are permitted only in designated paved areas. These activities are strictly prohibited anywhere on the lawn.

The use of an open flame inside the residential areas is strictly prohibited. Any breach of these rules will result in a penalty of €200.

Guests are not permitted to use their own electrical appliances inside the accommodation facility, particularly in the bedrooms, including toasters, air-conditioning units and similar appliances. This restriction does not apply to electrical appliances used for personal hygiene, such as electric shavers.

Animals

Animals are generally prohibited. Only dogs are permitted, provided that they sleep in the designated outdoor kennel available at the chalet.

Dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the fenced grounds or the interior of the chalet.

The fee for a dog is €10 per night. Any breach of this rule will automatically result in a penalty of €200. The Operator also reserves the right to terminate the stay of the group responsible for the dog immediately.

Waste

Guests are required to dispose of waste exclusively in the designated containers.

Damage and liability

The person responsible for a minor child is liable for any damage caused by that child.

Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property of the accommodation facility. Each guest is solely responsible for any unlawful conduct.

Guests must immediately report any faults, defects or damage to the Operator.

The guest agrees that the Operator may enter the property at any time during the rental period in order to perform duties related to the operation of the accommodation or if the Operator discovers any breach of these House Rules.

The Operator is not responsible for any belongings brought into the property by guests or for damage to belongings left unattended.

The Operator is also not responsible for any injuries occurring inside the chalet or on the surrounding grounds belonging to the property.

CCTV monitoring

The entire property is monitored by a CCTV system, with the exception of the interior of the chalet. The CCTV footage is recorded.

The CCTV system is used to protect the property of the Operator and to monitor compliance with these House Rules.

All accommodated guests acknowledge and agree to this monitoring when taking possession of the chalet. Guests who do not agree to the CCTV monitoring cannot be accommodated.

Night-time quiet hours

Guests are required to observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

For every commenced 30-minute period during which the night-time quiet hours are disturbed, the Operator is entitled to charge the guest a penalty of €50.

By confirming and agreeing on the dates of their stay, all guests confirm that they have been informed of these general accommodation terms and conditions before their arrival, that they understand them, agree to them and accept them in full.

If a guest breaches any of these terms and conditions, the Operator has the right to impose a penalty and terminate the stay without any entitlement to compensation. This applies to every provision and section of these House Rules.

Guests are required to compensate the Operator in full for any damage caused by their actions.

The Operator is entitled to invoice the guest for any outstanding amounts, declare them immediately due and require immediate payment.
